West Coast National Park
West Coast National Park: Become part of the tranquility and peace surrounding the Langebaan Lagoon. Slow down for a leisurely drive or cycle ride through the park, where you can see tortoises, zebra, gemsbok, wildebeest and ostrich among other wildlife. From August to October, the park is a riot of colour when wild flowers of every hue coats hill and valley.
Postberg Nature Reserve is home to a variety of habitats. This coastal area is ± 30 000 Ha. Postberg is open to the public between August to September. The West Coast National Park can represent a multitude of activities such as whale watching at Tsaarsbank, kite surfing, diving, kayaking, swimming, fishing, angling, bird watching and flower trails. The oldest fossilized human footprints were found in the West Coast National Park, the footprint of a woman was discovered at Kraal Bay.
