Seven Islands of Langebaan on TV

We are so excited!  Pasella, one of South Africa’s most prominent lifestyle TV programmes decided to explore yacht life on the Langebaan lagoon.  West Coast Life and Sea Stallion ll took them on a Seven Islands exploration in and around the gigantic sea lagoon one of South Africa’s largest natural

wonders.  We were so honored to have local famous stars like Binks McKenzie and Eddie Papier with owner Ernst Hugo onboard the Sea Stallion ll. The highlight of the trip was when Dieter Voigt (Pasella presenter) had the privilege to hold a baby Cormorant in his hands on Malgas Island thanks to special arrangements done by the Parks Board that allowed our crew to step aboard Malgas Island.  This is the largest breeding colony in South Africa – larger than the Island at Lamberts Bay, but less accessible to the public.

Pasella finished off their seven island exploration with a braai on Sea Stallion ll whilst anchored in Kraalbaai; one of our most beautiful bays within the borders of the West Coast National Park, famous for its crystal clear waters and rich sea and bird life. They also had some time to visit Preekstoel one of many icons unique to the west coast before sailing back. Back on land the crew was welcomed by Crystal Lagoon Lodge, our newest addition to our exclusive beachfront properties. Here they could just sit back reflect on their day and take in the breathtaking sunset from their private balconies overlooking the Langebaan lagoon.

Such a special, special experience to have shared with all of these talented people on board the Sea Stallion ll.  What a beautiful paradise we all share here in Langebaan with its aquamarine waters and seven islands rich with bird life while sailing on one of the biggest sea lagoons of South Africa.

Looking back one can clearly say that if you have missed the water bordering Langebaan, you have not experienced Langebaan!
